WORDS OF A STUDENT: Emily Frisch '16 "Chapman University has fueled my passion of medicine and travel. Thanks to the Chapman community's generous support, I am able to study prostate cancer research in order to seek better testing methods. Our team works in a highly sophisticated molecular biology lab under the guidance of Dr. Marco Bisoffi. Because of Chapman, I got to live amongst the indigenous Shipibo community of the Peruvian Amazon to study their language and culture. The Chapman University donors have allowed me to pursue my dream of becoming a physician." WORDS OF A STUDENT: Mackenzie Bates '16 "I always dreamed of being able to attend college in California. The palm trees and beaches aren't exactly what we're used to in Texas! When I was admitted to Chapman, my excitement was mitigated by the concern that I wouldn't be able to afford such a reputable school. Due to the scholarships and grants I received from Chapman University, however, my dream of attending college in California became a reality. I'd like to say thank you to all of the donors that have made my Chapman experience possible!"
