Bringing together some of the most renowned critical pedagogues in the world, Chapman University is honored to host Dr. Nita Freire as the keynote speaker for the symposium. Joining Dr. Freire will be distinguished Chapman CES professors and scholars, Drs. Peter McLaren and Tom Wilson and invited guests, Drs. Donaldo Macedo, Alma Flor Ada, Antonia Darder, and Richard Kahn. Following the symposium at 4 p.m., Leatherby Libraries will host the celebration of Chapman University becoming the Official Home of the Paulo Freire Critical Pedagogy Archives.
