Happy Wednesday Panthers! Today I would like to give a BIG🎯 shoutout to @chapman_cdc for the amazing opportunities they provide for Chapman students, including myself, whether through resume workshopping, internship opportunities, or interview prep! Because of them, I landed an internship last summer at @target in Orange County! My experience was challenging and inspiring, and I am forever grateful for the CDC for providing me with a platform as a young professional. I highly encourage all students to visit the MORE Career Expo today in Sandhu Conference Center from 3-6pm! It is put on by the Career Development Center, and there will be many companies, including Target, there to meet with students! Have an amazing day! 🐾 #mylifeatcu #chapmanu #target

Because of your generosity, I am able to receive a scholarship that makes it possible for me to attend the school of my dreams and learn in an unparalleled program for educational studies. WORDS OF A STUDENT: Tansu Philip '16 "Coming to Chapman was single-handedly the best decision I've made in my 20 years of life. This school has given me the opportunity to discover who I am and pursue my interests with pure ambition with the support of like-minded professors and peers. Without my scholarship, I'd be unable to attend and would be in an extremely different situation than I'm currently in. I feel very blessed to attend this school and would like to thank all donors for allowing me the opportunity to do so! I'll make you proud!" Happy Wednesday! We're finally passing the hump of the week! This last week, I presented my my capstone research project at the Student Faculty Research Expo. I have had the opportunity to work 5 semesters under the mentorship of Dr. Marco Bisoffi studying prostate cancer. The 3 other people in this photo have been my friends since day one at Chapman! We were all neighbors in Henley Hall and taking intro-level biology courses. Now we are graduating and and can tell you all about detecting organic materials in E-Cigarette vapor, expression of important molecules in prostate cancer, and clinical methods of detecting hemoglobin (respectfully). Thank you Chapman for the hands-on experience and knowledge outside the classroom! -Lijah #MyLifeAtCU #ChapmanU
