Chapman MBA

Student Feature, Nick Meyers, MBA Alumnus '15: "I work for Roth Capital Partners as an Equity Research Associate, covering about 20 companies in the active lifestyle and brand licensing industries within the consumer sector. In my position I use financial modeling and qualitative research to gain insight into future earnings for my covered companies. Together with my Senior Analyst, we provide our research and financial models to our institutional clients, which include hedge funds, mutual funds, and other asset managers. Chapman’s MBA program helped me prepare for this career in many ways, which include: providing access to Bloomberg terminals and Wall Street prep courses, hosting competitions such as the ACG cup, admitting classmates with impressive backgrounds from all around the world, and having access to a world-class faculty that was willing to help me in every aspect of my career search." #ChapmanMBA #MBAFeature #ChapmanAlumni

Happy #SweetheartSunday! Stephanie (Souza) Marria ’14 married James Marria ’14 on Septemer 5, 2015 in McCall, Idaho. The couple met at an eighth grade school dance in Boise, Idaho. Their love story according to Stephanie: “We met at an eighth grade school dance in Boise, Idaho and dated all throughout high school. When it came time to pick colleges, Chapman University offered both of us the most scholarships, and we both fell in love with the campus. So, we took the plunge and left Boise, Idaho for college in Orange, California together! We continued to date all throughout college at Chapman University where James majored in business and I majored in biological sciences. James proposed in McCall, Idaho over Christmas break during our senior year at Chapman, and after nine years of dating, we finally tied the knot!” Alumni in the wedding party included Madison Jostol ’14, Justine Volkman ’14, Jaclin Stublarec ’15, Samuel Kakuni ’14 and Dylan Cox ’14.

Chapman University - Marriage & Family Therapy Program
September 19, 2016
Meet Hanna Stensby (Class of 2017) and hear about her experience in the MFT Program at Chapman University . . . "The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Chapman University has cultivated for me not only a deep understanding of the therapeutic process, but a deeper understanding of myself. The program provides stimulating opportunities for the MFT students to personally craft their graduate experience, as well as providing essential support to help us succeed. Throughout my time in the program, I have taken advantage of the unique opportunities to gain experience in the local community. In the future, I aim to work with children and their parents who are struggling to navigate life's challenges. I would also like to make a positive impact working in the field of Substance Abuse. I am so grateful that I was able to channel my early interest in being a therapist into Chapman's enriching MFT program to launch my career as a Marriage and Family Therapist."

Chapman tried to get Andy Dwyer to run the account this week, but he was too busy at the Parks Department so they got another chubby and loveable goofball instead! My name is Sagar Kamnani and I'm a very proud panther from LA county! Im a Senior Business Admin major emphasizing in Finance with a minor in psychology. For me, Chapman has been a place where you can find people from unique backgrounds and different walks of life that broaden your own perspective. During my time here I've been involved in Greek Life, a Cultural club, Freshman Orientation, a recreational club, and you've probably seen me around working with the Media Services squad or just hangin out in the Union (most likely reading a comic book). Hope you all enjoy my Life of Pablo!...err..whoops..I mean #MyLifeAtCU . Be sure to follow my personal account @soggzpls as well because I love making new friends! 🤓 - Sagar Kamnani #ChapmanU #CaptureCU

Chapman University Argyros School of Business and Economics (ASBE)
November 3, 2015
Students of Argyros: An Interview with Sam Mitteldorf Tell me about yourself: My name is Sam Mitteldorf, and I am a junior studying Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in mathematics. I am on the Chapman tennis team, president of Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Chancellor's student advisory board, Chapman 50, an orientation leader, Hillel, and I am Jewish. I have an older sister and two younger brothers. I am originally from Calabasas. Why Chapman? I wanted a small private school. It was far enough away from home but close enough to drive home. It is a beautiful campus and an overall splendid environment. Why the Argyros School? I actually came into the school as a Math major, but I realized I wanted to do some sort of applied mathematics and felt the business school was the best route. I felt that I would be able to strengthen my network of students and alumni at Argyros. Favorite teacher? Clay McQuiddy
