The highly competitive event was held at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California on November 18, 19, and 20. Crystal is a student of Dr. Joseph Matthews.

Student Feature: Raymond Chien​, Full Time MBA '17 My name is Raymond (Wu-Heng) Chien and I am from Taiwan. I graduated from Fu Jen University with B.A of Food Science. After graduation, I worked as a product development specialist in a food company for 3 years. After 1 year at Chapman, I now work as a marking specialist in the NSE SmartHome company where I focus on planning marketing strategies, improving the Smart Home showroom experience and solution designing for Smart Homes. I chose the Chapman MBA program because it is a very competitive MBA program in California. The strategic location in Orange County provides students with a suitable study environment and sufficient living functionality. My favorite part about the Chapman MBA program is that it holds great networking events with so many remarkable alumni from different industries. In addition, as an international student from Taiwan, I appreciate the diversity in this program. I have had the chance to get to know people from many different countries including the United States, India, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Germany etc. It is an outstanding opportunity to be able to learn from different people from all around the world through this program. Last but not least, in the Chapman MBA program, I constantly challenge myself and stimulate my potential capabilities with the newest problem-solving techniques. By developing different skills and expanding my knowledge of business, this program has provided me with a deep understanding of the business environment.

Student Feature: Nathan Worden, Professional MBA '18 I'm Nathan Worden, I'm passionate about photography, business, and human learning. Professionally, I am a Resident Director at Chapman as well as a wedding photographer. Oh, and I also have my Real Estate License, so hit me up if you need to buy or sell a house! I chose the Chapman MBA program because of people like Matt Munson, Dean Reginald Gilyard, and the outstanding Argyros career services center staff (Joel Pearson, Dustin Smetona to name a couple). I had the advantage of being a film undergrad at Chapman and seeing a preview of how these people went about fulfilling the University's mission of providing a personalized education of distinction. Other programs I looked into were not designed to diagnose my particular strengths and weaknesses nor offer any kind of specific, personalized educational experience in response. The Chapman MBA seeks to get to know you and take into account your unique experiences. I love conversations after class with the professors about applying what I've learned to real world decisions. For example after my Finance class it has been fun talking with my professor about various investment strategies, and what the present value of a future cash flow would look like in the context of a personal investment decision.
