Last month Profs. Bill Wright and Walter Piper and the #ChapmanU marine biology class cruised Dana Point thanks to the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. "We caught lots of fish and plankton, measured water clarity near-shore and offshore, and saw a momma Gray whale and her calf," said Wright. Looks like everyone had a good time!

Yesterday (May 8, 2017) marked the first induction ceremony of Pi Delta Phi (The National French Honor Society) at Chapman University. Dr. Boitano served as the moderator, and Dean Fuery become an honorary member. He spoke to the students inductees about his study of French philosophers and authors, and their influence on his scholarship.
