Words of a Student: Mady Dewey '18 "Coming from a middle-class family as one of five children, paying for college is completely on me. Words cannot express how thankful I am for the opportunity to attend Chapman University and to have a truly personalized education. For example, I’m interested in journalism and after an introductory class, my professor, Gerald Hicks, offered me the position as editor-in-chief of Prowl Magazine. This has given me hands-on experience with an industry outside of my major. If it weren't for generous donors like you, this experience and the one-of-a-kind education I am receiving wouldn't be possible!" Mady Dewey '18 Major: Public relations and advertising Hometown: Santa Clarita, California These words of appreciation were volunteered by Mady Dewey. If you would like to help fund a scholarship for a grateful student or otherwise support the educational mission of Chapman University, contact David B.
