Next Thursday evening at 8pm, we welcome Kirill Gliadkovsky to Salmon Recital Hall for a solo piano recital. Chapman University's Office of the President
October 22, 2015
On Tuesday night, former Prime Minister of Yugoslavia, Milan Panic, was at Chapman to talk about a new biography about him that Chapman Professor, Mark Axelrod, wrote entitled “Big Thoughts Are Free: The Authorized Biography of Milan Panic.” Both Mr. Panic and Mark were part of a panel discussion that I moderated at the Fish Interfaith Center on Wallace Chapel. As always, Mr. Panic’s candor was refreshing. A special touch was that Governor Brown attended the event and the dinner that followed in honor of Mr. Panic. In his introductory remarks, Governor Brown spoke warmly of his many years of friendship and his deep admiration of Milan Panic as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and global statesman. Here are a few photos. JLD

Meet Jayson Schivley (Class of 2017) and hear about his experience in the MFT Program at Chapman University . . . "From a young age I was very intrigued by the human psyche and what fostered or hindered growth and potential. My heart always desired to understand and help people that were struggling. The Chapman University MFT Program has created a practical and stimulating academic environment for me to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to help others heal, grow, and thrive. I have learned and trained under the teaching and supervision of quality leaders in the field of marriage and family therapy. I am thrilled to be able to apply my growth and refined strengths toward helping others."
