Lena Haddad ’15 and Dor Shoshan ’15 both have close family members who felt the direct effects of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. However, they are working together, performing research on parallel tracks toward better detection and treatment of prostate and pancreatic cancer. Here are some photos from Monday night's Paul's Pasta Party in the Piazza at Chapman. We all had a fantastic time under the stars to have some great food (I helped make pizza in a wood burning oven) and great music. The best part was the opportunity we had for students, faculty, staff and trustees to break bread together. Thanks go to our gracious host and hostess: Paul and Marybelle Musco. We couldn't do it without them. JLD

Our Athletic Director Dave Currey and Coach Bob Owens surprised me with the trophy that commemorates our SCIAC Football Championship. All SCIAC champions since 1942 are listed. It’s great to have Chapman’s name on it for the first time. Hopefully, it won’t be the last. I congratulate Coach Owens and our incredible team for their undefeated SCIAC season. What makes it particularly special is that our student-athletes are just that…. students first!
