Here are some photos from a recent field trip of Prof. Bill Wright's Marine Biology class to Corona Del Mar to study the dispersion of limpets on the break-wall entrance to Newport Bay. The class is "field-trip heavy", which Prof. Wright calls "pretty cool." We agree!

Junior biological sciences Emily Hanna (middle) volunteers in the playroom at Children's Hospital of Orange County, is a mentor, supplemental instructor for calculus, #ChapmanU's Feature Twirler, and treasurer of Women in Science and Technology (#WIST). Plus, she does research in the Wetland Biogeochemistry Lab with Dr. Keller and Dr. Medvedeff, exploring the role of Hynix acid reduction in peatland soils and optimizing methods for methylotrophic methanogenesis.
