“This fall semester I am interning for “The Dr. Phil Show” located in the heart of the Paramount studios lot in Hollywood. I choose to intern for "Dr. Phil", because I enjoy a high paced work environment. Some of my tasks include the preparation of shooting scripts for field shoots and the production of interview videos through post. I am building strong relationships with influential professionals and gaining relevant experience in TV production, which suits my desired career path.” Guy Lahav, MBA '15, from Israel, BFA in Cinematography and Film Production, Intern at Paramount Pictures #ChapmanMBA #Fallnternship #ParamountStudios #TakeBoldSteps #MBAintern #Hollywood

Please join the Librería Martinez de Chapman University on Saturday, September 27 from 4-6 p.m., as we welcome journalist Eileen Truax. Eileen Truax is a journalist and an immigrant. Born in Mexico City, she moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and for seven years was a reporter with La Opinión, covering immigration and Mexican communities. Her book, Dreamers, about undocumented students in the US, tells the stories of young men and women who are a living testimony of a complex, and sometimes unknown, demographic, politic and sociologic reality.

I finally received photos of a pizza party I had at my home a few weeks ago. Harriet and Sandy Sandhu were the winning bidders on an auction item that included pizza made by one of the truly great pizza makers in the world, Chef Pirozzi, as well as one of the not so great (me). Harriet and Sandy as well as Chapman friends like Marta and Raj Bhathal, Leslie and Dino Cancellieri, Sally and Randy Crockett, Joann and Tony Fanticola, Iris and Arnold Frankel, Anne Manassero, Pamela Paul, and Eve and Mike Ruffato all had a great time on a beautiful O.C. summer evening. Check out the photos. JLD
