We've all heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but are you familiar with #GivingTuesday? It's a global day dedicated to giving back. Learn more at givingtuesday.org. We hope you'll consider celebrating #GivingTuesday with a gift to the Chapman Fund. Check out this blog post to learn more about the type of impact you'll make by giving. If you choose to give, take an "unselfie" (the selfless and generous version of a selfie) and post it to spread the spirit of generosity on #GivingTuesday! Learn more: bit.ly/1rd931G.

On Saturday, Paul and Marybelle Musco, George and Julia Argyros, Wylie and Bette Aitken, Tom and Sharon Malloy, Kathy Hamilton representing our incredible Women of Chapman, Doy Henley and other main donors toured the Musco Center. Check out the photos. The highlight of the day was at the luncheon when Julia Argyros announced that she and George would donate an additional $1 million to name the “William Hall Stairway to the Stars.” It was the first time in 41 years, I’ve seen Bill Hall tear up. Me too! JLD

These Chapman Alums (they call themselves the Patient Experience) - Lauren Potts ’15, Dylan Trumbull ’14, Hannah Karsen ‘12, and Sydney Snyder ’10 -- just hosted an art show titled, Side Effects May Include Art, June 14 - June 20, 2015. The exhibition showcased the work of Patient Experience, a collective of artists each coping with their own illness. These artists have elected to channel their personal misfortune into a creative outlet. This inaugural show was a small survey of work by these artists, individually and independently produced. Congrats!

We invite you to attend and learn how to make wiser, more fully informed decisions about your financial future. Fall classes start this month. There are no fees. You may attend an entire series or the individual sessions of your choice. For more information visit www.chapman.edu/estate-workshops. Last year, the Chapman University Football had the privilege of meeting little Ben Teach who recently passed away from leukemia. Next Tue-Wed (Apr. 7-8), the Panthers will be looking for people to sign up to Be The Match and save a life like Ben's. All it takes to join the national marrow donor registry is a cheek swab and a signature, so look for the Panthers in the Piazza and in Argyros Forum next week and sign up! Be the difference, BE THE MATCH!
